RVU Military Grads Treated to Luncheon and Cake Ceremony

Rocky Vista University’s military grads were honored recently with a cake reception and luncheon. General James P. McCarthy addressed the gathered personnel, each dressed in military apparel, and told them what to expect when working on the line of the medical corps.

 

Clinton Adams, DO, FACHE, President and CEO of RVU, thanked the soldiers for their service and congratulated them on their upcoming graduation. General McCarthy, along with three military students representing the Army, Navy and Air Force, each cut an individual cake.

 

The traditional ceremony, held in the RVU lobby, was attended by students, faculty and dignitaries. Among those in attendance was Stephen C. Shannon, DO, MPH, and keynote speaker at the upcoming RVU graduation ceremony.
